Overview
During your stay at Wild Dunes you will enjoy all the amenities the resort offers as well as the Isle of Palms coastline. The private clinics will be designed by their tennis pros to cater to everyone's skill levels. Whether you're a beginner looking to learn the basics or an experienced player seeking to refine your technique; they will help you take your game to the next level. Besides working on your tennis skills, you will also have the opportunity to roam about the resort, relax with a massage at the spa, and/or enjoy Isle of Palms.

Private Villa at Grand Pavilion at Wild Dunes
Wild Dunes is centered around the Grand Pavilion Boardwalk. The Boardwalk features an ice cream shop, bar, grill, beach shop and oceanfront swimming pools. Adjacent to the Grand Pavilion Boardwalk is a hotel, spa, fitness facility, Harbor golf course, tennis center, swim center and five resort restaurants. All Grand Pavilion homes have unlimited access to the Grand Pavilion Boardwalk and swimming pools.
Tennis and Pickleball Center
Wild Dunes offers 12 clay courts and five newly-added pickleball courts. As a guest, you'll enjoy access to the full-service Pro Shop and top-ranked instruction with professional instructors. It's appropriate that Wild Dunes Resort is right next to Charleston which was named America's Best Tennis Town by the U.S. Tennis Association. In 2022, Wild Dunes was rated #1 for both tennis staff and #2 for best overall tennis resort in the world.
Islander 71
Islander 71 is a nod to the easy going beach life of the Isle of Palms in the 1970’s. Taking you back to when kids rode bikes freely, Dads drank beer on the beach and Moms sunbathed to a golden brown. Afternoons were spent crabbing on the dock, or catching Reds at flood tide. Dinner was a gathering time for friends and family to share succulent seafood and fruity drinks. Laughter and good vibes were in the air as the sky turned into a mango sunset.

- Private 2-hour Tennis clinic with a Wild Dunes tennis pro 3:00-5:00 pm

Leaving the beach is such sweet sorrow but everyone must check-out of the villa by 10:00 a.m. Please be sure to follow any checkout instructions given by your host. Safe travels home and we'll see you on our next adventure!

In 2022, Wild Dunes was rated #1 for both our tennis staff and junior tennis program and #2 for best overall tennis resort out of all resorts in the world. Wild Dunes offers 12 clay courts, including a stadium court, four lit courts for night play, and offer five newly-added pickleball courts. They have a full-service Pro Shop and top-ranked instruction with professional instructors. You will enjoy both tennis and pickleball clinics specifically designed to fit your group.

Getting There
Isle of Palms is an easy 3.5 hour drive from Charlotte but you can also fly into the Charleston International Airport and Uber to Wild Dunes.

There are many dining options located in Wild Dunes Resort. Explore upscale and casual dining options, whether it be for breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert, or sips. From banana foster pancake stacks, to fried chicken jerk wraps, to oysters, they have something for everyone. Please refer to Wild Dunes website for additional information or we are happy to make recommendations for you.
Sullivan's Island
If you want to explore outside of Wild Dunes, Sullivan's Island is an easy drive where you can walk to many restaurants/bars including Poe's Tavern, Mex 1 and Longboards.

When I check-in to villa
Check-in time is 4:00 pm on day of arrival
Is there a coffee maker
The villa offers both a coffee maker and Keurig machine
Is the villa fully stocked
- The villa will be stocked with essentials (coffee, sweetener, creamer, water) before arrival.
- It also comes with paper towels, toilet paper, dish detergent and trash bags
- If you run out of any items, you will need to restock yourself
Do we need to bring our own towels?
The villa will be fully stocked with bath towels, washcloths, hand towels and beach towels. You can find extra towels/washcloths inside cabinets in the laundry room.
When is check-out
Everyone will need to depart before 10:00 a.m. on the last day. There is a check-out list on the side of the refrigerator of items that need to be completed before you leave the villa.
